What are we going to do during our holiday 2021?

The time has come to think about what we are going to do during those weeks that we are saving to enjoy the hot days that July and August offer in Spain.

From our school we would like to present you with 5 options for those of you who are looking for a week of adventure in the Canary Islands for the 2021 holidays. We all know that learning how to surf is what is in fashion but we will give you other options.

1º SURF

Fashionable sport par excellence, who hasn’t seen an ad with a surfboard? It seems that learning to surf is the sport that everyone is looking for. As it is not an easy sport, if you don’t want to die trying, we propose you some basic courses so that you can acquire the necessary knowledge to continue learning on your own in a safe and fun way. The Lanzarote surfing course is aimed at all people and all levels. It doesn’t matter how old you are, just how much you want to learn and improve on the beach of Famara, known for its safety and good waves (Lanzarote).

2º KITESURF

This sport began to become famous in 2004 when Gisela Pulido, at the age of 10, won the world championship of the KPWT professional circuit, although it is known that in oriental countries such as China and Indonesia kites were already used to drag small boats (21st century).

To be able to practice this sport you need to have wind. Famara beach has an onshore wind during most of the year which makes it a safe place to learn this sport. Besides, its almost 6 km long and no nearby buildings make it even more recommendable for the practice of this sport. No matter what level you are, we will help you to learn, improve and advance in the learning of this sport during your holidays.

3º SUP

A sport that became fashionable a few summers ago, when you could see all the celebrities on a board, rowing in hand. It is not a difficult sport if you want to go for a walk with a few notions and accessible to everyone and for everyone.

4º DIVE

Lanzarote is an island that surprises any diver with its crystal clear waters and the great diversity of spectacular dive sites.

Our Canarian diving school is a PADI recognised centre and includes a hyperbaric chamber for any eventuality. The school has last season material and we renew it every year in order to give more security to our students.

5º KITESURF

The kitesurf school Famara (Lanzarote)  is open all year round. Adults and young people, beginners and advanced, can practice kitesurfing in our school in the Canary Islands with a really nice climate.

Calima Kitesurf organizes kitesurfing camps and lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced in the Canary Islands, Lanzarote.

If you don’t know which sport you like best, we offer you the possibility to combine these sports thanks to the great variety of combination camps we offer.
