Surfing is all about consistency, practice, and confidence in the water. At our surf school in Lanzarote, we help you improve from day one with lessons adapted to your level and your goals.
The more time you spend in the water with the right guidance, the easier it is to progress. That is why at Calima Surf School we offer surf courses in Famara for beginners, intermediate surfers, and experienced riders, always with well-organised groups and teaching focused on helping you learn, improve, and enjoy every session.
If you have never stood on a board before, we help you get started safely. If you already have experience, we work with you so you can keep improving and make the most of every session.
Our surfing programmes include
If you have no way of getting to the beach, don’t worry. We’re on it! We want to make it as easy as possible for you to surf, so for the 4 hour-a-day courses, we provide a free transport service (there and back) for participants in the following areas: Costa Teguise, Puerto del Carmen, Puerto Calero, Arrecife, Teguise, San Bartolomé y La Santa. (Minimum 2 participants).
Our surf programmes include all the equipment and material you need (neoprene wetsuits, boards, paraffin) as well as accident and public liability insurance, ensuring a fun experience for our participants but always in a secure environment!
The full surfing courses include a certificate indicating how many hours of surfing you have done and photos from the entire course, for you to look back over and remember this fun experience.
You can also choose a more specific option depending on your level, your age, or the kind of experience you want to enjoy in Famara. At Calima Surf, we offer different surf lessons so that each person can find the format that best suits their goals.
Surf lessons for children: We also offer surf lessons for children, with sessions adapted to their age, level, and pace of learning. It is an ideal option for younger surfers to discover surfing in Famara in a safe, fun way and with qualified instructors.
Private surf lessons: If you prefer more personalised attention, our private surf lessons are a great option to progress faster, improve your technique, and make the most of each session with an instructor focused on you or your small group.
