Cancellation Policies

How to book

  1. The traveler request room/course/camp availability with dates and number of people by email or telephone.
  2. Once we confirm the availability we will send you a budget attached, indicating the deposit required to confirm reservation. This deposit must be paid within 48 hours by direct debit, bank transfer, credit card or Paypal (surcharge 5%). The outstanding amount is paid IN CASH upon arrival to our center. A surcharge will also apply depending on the payment method.
  3. If the customer failed to make the deposit prior to 48 hours after we send the mail with a quote for your reservation and confirmation of availability you will need to contact us to check again the availability otherwise Calima Surf is not liable for any overbooking.

 

Cancellation policy

  1. If the client decides to cancel the booking , it must notify Calima Surf at least thirty days prior to commencement. In this case, the student is entitled to a refund of amounts paid, minus 35 Euro as handling fees.
  2. If such cancellation is notified by the client to Calima surf with less than thirty days before the start of the booking, the client will not be entitled to reimbursement of the amounts paid. In that case the amount paid will be kept to a future reservation within a period not exceeding one year, during which the student can select a new date for the completion of courses and sufcamps (depending on availability).
  3. If the cancellation is notified less than seven days before the arrival date or starting course date , the client will have a penalty which shall not be entitled to any refund for all amount paid.
  4. Calima understands that with the payment of the deposit both parties agree on the conditions that have been exposed in the last mail. ​Modifications can be made at the arrival to the school but the can never be inferior in number, days and price than what was previous booked. If they were, Calima reserves the right to refund the money.​

 

Cancellation of activities due to weather issues or lack of conditions

  1. If contracted activities (Surfing, Kite, SUP , Windsurfing , Diving … ) are canceled for weather reasons (heavy rain or extreme wind ) or lack of appropriate conditions for the practice of such activities (waves in the case of surf and wind in the case of Kite or Windsurf ) Calima Surf will offer the client the following possibilities:
    • Change of date for the contracted activity;
    • An alternative activity;
    • If the customer cannot change the dates or were not interested in doing an alternative activity will be offered a voucher equivalent to the outstanding amount of the contract activity valid for 1 year from date of issue.
