Many people view the Canary Islands  as ´The Surfer’s´ Paradise´. This is due to the constant winds combined with different types of seabeds which bring about such a wide array of waves. Moreover, you can choose the season which best suits you as the good weather will not be an issue. Of course there are many different beaches in the Canary Islands. These can be classified according to the type of wave they produce and their location. There are beaches that are suitable for beginners due to  its medium intensity, therefore making learning easier. LANZAROTE SURF SCHOOL AND SURF CAMP

• Calima Surf School: Organises surf, kite, diving & yoga surf camps and can be found in the natural reserve of Famara, just a few steps away from the beach. They offer free accommodation and a wide variety of interesting surf, windsurf, kitesurf & paddlesurf Famara surfing courses.
• Franito Surf: A surf school specialized for young surfers from the ages of 6 up till 12.

FUERTEVENTURA SURF SCHOOL AND SURFCAMPS

• PR Surfing: With their headquarters in Maspalomas, towards the south of Gran Canaria, this school offers a large selection of classes and courses for many different types of water sports.
• University Surf: The University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria offers  to all its students the opportunity to learn how to surf.

TENERIFE SURF SCHOOL AND SURFCAMP
