The 10 best gifts for a surfer at Christmas

Surfer friends! Christmas is near and with it the wishes to Santa Claus and the letters to the Three Kings.

At Calima Surf we don’t want to be less and we have also made our most precious wish list for Christmas. Don’t miss any!

In our list we haven’t included the latest apple watch or the classic jabugo ham shoulder… We have opted for those gifts that every surfer would like to have in their hands… ( or his feet ).

There goes our surfing menu for Christmas!

1. BLAWESOME WETSUIT DRYER. Dry your wetsuit in 18 minutes

A dryer for your neoprene? We have asked ourselves the same question. What a great idea! This original invention dries and disinfects your neoprene in just 18 minutes. What better time than at Christmas to give away the neoprene dryer.

The pity is that we still can’t buy it until after Christmas, it is a Spanish project still in development. We are asking for it now, even though it is not due to be sold until 2017.

Here you can see the complete project: http://www.thewetsuitdryer.com/

2. THE TOOL. A Swiss army knife for surfers

Comb, key for keels, screwdriver, sandpaper… Only lack that this multi-tool knife will have solarez incorporated! My surfing friends, I put my hand in the fire that if MacGyver had been a surfer he would surely have one of these.

A great gift for Christmas!

3. ODYSEA.  Jamie O’Brien’s new toys
We’ve all seen some on the beach lately. They are fun, original and trendy. Perfect for surfing beach waves in most conditions. With one of these, we have a fun swim guaranteed! They cost around 200 euros and they come in all sizes and types.

Here is their official website: https://catchsurf.com/

4. PONCHO RIP CURL. A lo Obi Wan Kenobi.

With Christmas comes the cold too, and what better than getting out of the water and getting warm while taking off your neoprene without getting cold?

Essential for every surfer, the poncho is the garment you can’t leave at home this winter. Its price is around 40€

5. SURF TRIP TO THE CANARY ISLANDS WITH LANZAROTESURF

The famous photographer Diana Arbus once quoted: “My favourite thing is to go where I’ve never been”. So if you are thinking of visiting a new place this Christmas, you should appropriate this phrase and come and visit the Canary Islands and more specifically Lanzarote, land of volcanoes. And if you’ve already been lucky enough to visit Lanzarote, you’ll know what it means to be here on this island and you’re sure to want to come back!

Take a look at their website and don’t hesitate to book your surf camp on Lanzarote…we are waiting for you
