Prototype students at a surf camp

After more than 20 years giving surfing lessons, at Calima Surf we have enough experience behind us to be able to identify the prototype students you will come across this summer in your surf camp for adults. They are detailed below:

campamento de surf

The sunshine girl: the weather and the climate are her biggest concerns. You won't mind if during your week of surfing the sea conditions are going to accompany you to enter the series. You will be looking exclusively at the sky. She is determined to return to the office with a spectacular tan and will go into a depression if the sun doesn't shine two days in a row. In addition, he is afraid of sunscreen above factor 15.

The Willy Fog of the group: his curiosity to know the island is above his passion for surfing. At any dinner or lunch he will bring up the subject of renting a car. You will land on Lanzarote with a very complete map and with a thorough knowledge of all its points of interest. You will be encouraged to take a day trip and tour the island together to save money.

The party: your real surf camp starts when the sun goes down. You usually take advantage of the whole afternoon to take a good nap and he will want you to help him close the trendy bar in Famara after an intense surfing session. He won't rest until he gets the whole group out to party.

He has trained hard for a whole year to show off that chocolate bar in the style of Ryan Gosling's 'Crazy, stupid, love' during his week of surfing on Lanzarote. Any excuse will do to take off his shirt. However, he will allow himself excesses these days and will eat as if there was no tomorrow. Watch out for your part!

The repeater: you will look at him with suspicion because he will carry a smaller board under his arm and it will seem to you that he surfs like Kelly Slater. He has been showing up at Calima Surf for several years now and is the one who will answer any questions you may have regarding timetables and protocol.
